Battle of the Quickest

Grrrrrr

Sunday the 28th saw the Burra boys battle it out on the race track at Le Mans go karting track in Dandenong. A total of 18 registered for the race including the president Darren Veitch while our secretary Doug was cheering from the sidelines.

Although Veitch was as slow as a turtle and was holding everyone back (as evidently displayed in the gallery pictures) his two mates Jeromy and Darren were able to secure first and second places comfortably with Nimesh "Nima" taking the 3rd place to win a kiss on the cheek from the lovely receptionist.

The event was well organised by Kyle (although he himself was late) and raised a considerable amount of funds for the club.

  • 1st Place - Jeromy (Veitch's mate)
  • 2nd Place - Darren (Veitch's mate)
  • 3rd Place - Nimesh
